Crisis Management |
| |
| The purpose of the crisis management is to provide
a framework to enable an organisation to manage
an adverse impact upon its operations. At Lime Continuity
Solutions, regardless of the size of an organisation,
we offer crisis management documentation tailored
to the needs of that organisation. |
| |
| An organisation’s crisis management plans
will incorporate three key components – the
crisis management team structure, the escalation
process and the invocation process. |
| |
| For any crisis management plan to work efficiently
and effectively it is essential that it is structured
of the right way with the make up of the organisation
reflected in the composition of the crisis management
structure. |
| |
| In the event of an adverse impact on an organisation,
efficiency and effectiveness in the escalation in
the incident’s immediate aftermath are vital.
This is not the time to identify the individuals
to be contacted but the time to follow a simple
predefined escalation plan. This document will ensure
that there is no replication and more importantly
that key individuals are not missed out altogether.
|
| |
| After the details of an incident have been escalated
to the correct group of individuals, invocation
may or may not be decided upon. Again, this should
be a simple process of instructions detailing specific
roles and responsibilities with one document for
each defined role – this is not the time to
be referring to generic documentation. |
